Welcome to Joyner Genealogy
This space is where forgotten stories are gathered, preserved, and gently brought back into the light.

I’m Angel, a professional genealogist with a deep love for history, ancestral connection, and the quiet lives that shaped the world we live in today. Through this website, I share archival documents, handwritten records, antique photographs, and the stories of everyday people. Individuals who may not appear in textbooks, but whose lives still echo through time.
Whether you’re here to explore the past, read through transcriptions, or begin your own genealogical journey, you are welcome here.

All About Me
My name is Angel Joyner, and I have been a professional genealogist since 2020. What began as a personal curiosity quickly grew into a lifelong calling—one rooted in the belief that our ancestors are not as distant as they seem.
I specialize in tracing family lines, uncovering hidden connections, and bringing clarity to stories that have been lost, forgotten, or misunderstood. My work often involves analyzing historical records such as census data, probate files, land records, newspapers, and archival documents to reconstruct the lives of those who came before us.
But this space is more than just research.
Joyner Genealogy is also a living archive.
Over time, I have collected antique photographs, postcards, and historical documents—pieces of real lives that once mattered deeply to someone. Many of the individuals in these items are unnamed or disconnected from their families. Here, I share those images alongside carefully transcribed documents, preserving them so they can be seen, read, and remembered again.
I believe there is something sacred in that work—returning voice and presence to people who might otherwise be lost to time.
In addition to sharing these stories, I also offer genealogical research services. Whether you are trying to trace your lineage, break through a brick wall, or document your family history for personal or legal purposes, I welcome you to reach out.
At its heart, this work is about connection—between past and present, between records and real lives, and sometimes, between people and the ancestors who are still quietly walking beside them.
